Every day, across the Internet, trust is secured by hundreds of thousands of people working behind the scenes to fight constantly evolving attacks from fraudsters, hackers, scammers, and identity thieves. The no-code SpecTrust ROAM platform gives cybercrime fighters the speed and agility normally only available to their hacker adversaries, enabling them to deliver powerful high-trust experiences for their good customers in minutes instead of months.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to build on our momentum and unlock the potential of people, data, and teams in the fight against cybercrime by managing the growth and refinement of a category-defining platform that draws from our founding team’s experience fighting fraud and identity abuse in every market and at the largest scales. 

What you’ll do:

  • Know our customers and understand their needs
    • You’ll collaborate with customers, prospects, and our customer engagement teams to drive the design and refinement of powerful product experiences.
    • You’ll understand the types of problems our customers face and what solutions are available to them.
    • You’ll participate in strategic account activities in order to gain ground-truth in the realities of discovering, purchasing, enabling, and realizing value from the SpecTrust ROAM platform.
  • Unlock autonomy and velocity inside SpecTrust by supporting our culture of written communication. You’ll maintain clear, high-utility written documentation that serves as a single source of truth, including:
    • Product requirements
    • Reference documents
    • Decision documents (DACI)
    • Talk pages
    • Memos
  • You’ll drive clarity and focus in decision making by transforming informal information into formal direction using the best data available.
  • You’ll align to optimal outcomes for our internal and external users of the product, employees, and strategic stakeholders through the application of your:
    • Subject-matter experience
    • Business acumen
    • Technical empathy

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’ve been responsible for outcomes in fraud detection, identity, or user trust and safety.
  • You’ve led or influenced multi-disciplinary projects with stakeholders from engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success.
  • You’ve worked directly with external customers or prospects to develop, prioritize, and publicize product roadmaps that unlock market acquisition at scale.
  • You’ve crafted decision frameworks, reference documents, and project collateral that drive critical alignment and enduring utility.
  • You’ve consistently helped engineering teams successfully deliver against ambitious but achievable roadmaps and create technical surplus through effective long-term planning.
  • You have deep convictions about unlocking the potential of the Internet.

Experience we’re excited to see:

  • 4+ years in product management or similar
  • Practical experience with:
    • Fraud prevention
    • Identity
    • User trust & safety
    • Abuse
    • Web security
  • Technical familiarity with:
    • The web messaging stack: TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, and HTTP
    • Common REST API patterns
    • Javascript
    • Rust
  • Business familiarity with:
    • Marketplaces
    • Online payments
    • Consumer fintech
    • Financial institutions
